Nintendo Power Charts - Virtual Boy

The Virtual Boy charts in Nintendo Power only ran for 11 months, not surprising given the system's failure. They ran from November 1995 through September 1996, and were replaced the following month with a Nintendo 64 chart. That was the first time NP changed a chart in the middle of a year, so you know that something went wrong. Actually, the last VB game was released in March 1996 so it's kind of unexpected that they survived even that long.

It was a top 5 only, and 8 of the 14 American releases charted. The six games that did not chart are : Jack Bros., Panic Bomber, Teleroboxer, Vertical Force, Virtual League Baseball, and Waterworld. See here for a full list of VB games, both American and Japanese.

Wario Land dominated the chart, placing first in 9 of 11 months.
