PS1 Classics on PSN - Ranked by number of reviews

On PSN, each game can be rated from 1-5 stars. This can only be done if you've purchased the game, so looking at the number of reviews is a way of seeing which games have sold the most copies. It's not perfect, but it's a decent way to judge sale figures without them being officially released.

Of course, some games might have more passionate fans who are more likely to review it than others. Also, many of the games were given away free on Playstation Plus, which greatly increases the number of "owners." Those games are noted below - some of them were given away more than once. In addition, Wild Arms was given away free at one point to everyone (supposedly to Vita owners only, but you could access it on your PS3 by adding it to your download list via the web store).

These numbers were recorded on October 10, 2013 for all 207 PS1 classics in the store. At least three more games were previously available, but have since been removed (Jet Moto 3, R-Type Delta, R-Types). Game list and release dates were taken from Wikipedia.

The final column, RPD, indicates the number of reviews per day since the game was released on PSN.
